Reform the Real World in Your Hand — Pocket 3D is a compact handheld LiDAR 3D scanner that rapidly captures and reconstructs real-world scenes at 1:1 scale. One device, five model outputs:

·  Colorized Point Cloud: Centimeter-level accuracy with 1:1 spatial reconstruction. Directly measure distances, heights, and areas.

·  Photorealistic 3DGS Model: Photo-realistic visualization with free-viewpoint navigation and preset-path walkthroughs.

·  Mesh : Lightweight triangular meshes for visualization, editing, and rendering.
Note: Requires compatible third-party software.

·  Pose-Tagged Panoramic Images: Each image contains pose information for spatial navigation and traceability.

·  BIM Model: Digitizes physical assets using 3D models.
Note: Requires compatible third-party software.

One Device, Four Model Outputs

  • 3DGS Model: An ultra-realistic Gaussian rendering model with photo-level quality and immersive display — the preferred choice for film & TV, cultural tourism, and digital twins.
  • Point Cloud Model: A centimeter-level precision point cloud fully restores spatial structure and dimensions, revealing every scene detail with vivid clarity for real, measurable data.
  • Mesh Model: The lightweight triangular mesh model offers clear topology and remains adaptable to rendering, display, secondary editing, and other needs.
  • BIM Model: The engineering-grade Building Information Model supports pipelines, structures, and dimension annotations and interfaces directly with construction design.
  • Note: Mesh and BIM models require processing with third-party professional software.

Common Questions

FAQ

What outputs does the scanner produce natively?
The Pocket 3D scanner natively produces 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) scenes and dense geo-referenced point clouds (.PLY / Colmap format). Mesh (OBJ/FBX) and BIM (IFC/RVT) outputs require compatible third-party processing software such as Revit or ArchiCAD applied to the exported point cloud data.
Does the scanner include a 360° camera?
No. The scanner unit ships without a camera. To generate colorized point clouds and high-quality 3DGS outputs, you will need a compatible third-party 360° camera (e.g., Insta360 X4/X4 Air/X5, DJI OSMO 360), which must be purchased separately. Insta360 and DJI are trademarks of their respective owners; this product is not affiliated with or endorsed by those brands.
Is SLAM GO POST Pro really free forever?
Yes. SLAM GO POST Pro is provided at no cost for the lifetime of your registered device. There are no subscription fees, no seat licenses, and no expiry — updates included.
What is the accuracy of the scanner?
The Pocket 3D achieves a relative accuracy of 2 cm at a range of 60 m using its 16-line SLAM LiDAR system scanning at 48,000 points per second. Absolute accuracy depends on site conditions, scan speed, and post-processing workflow.
How long does the battery last per charge?
The SP20 handle battery provides approximately 3 hours of continuous scanning time. Battery life may vary depending on ambient temperature and scan intensity.
Can I use the scanner outdoors in cold climates?
Yes. The operating temperature range is -20°C to 50°C, making the scanner suitable for outdoor surveys in cold environments, including snow conditions and winter construction sites.
